Karl Illava (1896–1954) created the memorial of seven World War I soldiers set on a granite platform designed by architects Rogers and Haneman. Donated by the Seventh Regiment New York 107th United Infantry Memorial Committee, dedicated September 27, 1927. Located at East 67th Street and Fifth Avenue in Central Park.
