The district's boundaries are roughly 14th Street to the south, 30th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River and West Street to the west. :)
London Terrace apartments construction began in late 1929 of what at that time was the largest apartment building in the world which contains approximately 1,700 apartments in 14 contiguous buildings between 17 and 19 stories high as well as an Olympic sized swimming pool.
