Alpine Anemone (Anemone drummondii)

Anemone drummondii S. Wats. Drummond's anemone aka Alpine Anemone, Group: Dicot, Family: Ranunculaceae, Growth Habit: Forb/herb, Duration: Perennial, U.S. Nativity: Native.

This hardy herbaceous perennial may grow to a height of 1 to 2 feet although the example showen in our image is some what shorter about 6 inches. they prefer deep rich soil with well decayed manure that will hold moisture. A sunny to partially shaded area is best.
